What is Daring Destiny?
Daring Destiny is an interactive story app where your choices shape the narrative. Read immersive stories across different genres, make decisions that influence the plot, and experience multiple possible endings — all at your own pace.
Is the app free to download?
Yes. The app is free to download. The first chapter of every book is available at no cost. Additional chapters are unlocked individually using Gems, our in-app currency.
What platforms is Daring Destiny available on?
Daring Destiny is available on iOS (iPhone & iPad) and Android. There is no web browser or desktop version at this time.
What are the minimum OS requirements?
We support iOS 15 and above, and Android 10 and above. Older versions may work but are not officially supported.
What languages is the app available in?
The app and its stories are available in German, English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian. Not every book is available in all languages — language availability is shown per book.
Do I need an internet connection to use the app?
An internet connection is required to create an account, make purchases, unlock chapters and sync your progress across devices. Some content may be accessible offline after it has been loaded once, but core features require connectivity.

What kind of stories does Daring Destiny offer?
We offer choice-driven romance and drama stories with strong characters, real decisions, and branching outcomes. Stories range from contemporary romance to more dramatic and mystery-driven narratives.
Do my choices actually matter?
Yes. Decisions influence the story, shape relationships and in some books lead to entirely different endings. After each chapter you can also see statistics showing how other players decided at key moments.
Are there multiple endings?
Some books feature multiple endings depending on your choices throughout the story. These are highlighted with a "Multiple Endings" tag on the book's info card.
How long is a chapter?
Most chapters are designed to be around 10–15 minutes of reading time, depending on your pace.
Is the content suitable for all ages?
Daring Destiny is intended for readers 16 and older. Stories may contain mature themes including romance, emotional conflict and adult situations. The app is rated accordingly on the App Store and Google Play.
Gems & Purchasing
What are Gems?
Gems are the in-app currency used to unlock chapters and purchase outfits for your character. They can be earned for free through Daily Gems rewards, levelling up your profile, completing books, or watching ads — or purchased via gem bundles in the store.
Do I have to pay to play?
The first chapter of every book is always free. To continue reading beyond chapter one, chapters are unlocked individually with Gems. You can earn Gems for free — you are never forced to spend real money.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled directly by Apple or Google, not by Daring Destiny. iOS: reportaproblem.apple.com — Android: Google Play Help.
Account & Profile
Do I need an account to play?
No. You can start playing immediately as a guest (anonymous account). However, anonymous profiles cannot be transferred to a new device or restored if you uninstall the app. We strongly recommend linking your account.
I switched phones and lost my progress. What do I do?
If you had a linked account (email, Apple or Google), you can restore everything: install the app on your new device, go to Profile → Sign in, and log in with the same account. If you played as an anonymous guest without linking an account, your progress cannot be recovered — this is why we strongly recommend linking your account.
Can I play on multiple devices at the same time?
Your progress is tied to your account and syncs automatically. You can switch between devices freely as long as you're logged in with the same account.
How do I delete my account and data?
To request deletion of your account and all associated data, please contact us at hello@daringdestinyapp.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Privacy & Data
What data does Daring Destiny collect?
We collect the data necessary to operate your account, sync your reading progress and process purchases. This includes your email address (if provided), a unique user ID, reading progress and purchase history. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Is my payment information stored by Daring Destiny?
No. All payments are processed exclusively by Apple or Google. We never see or store your credit card or payment details.
